Project Overview

Dr. Kendra Thompson-Dyck at the University of Arizona and Dr. Carmin Chan at Northern Arizona University lead the project, which is funded by the Arizona Innovation Alliance of the Arizona Board of Regents.

The project pilots a statewide institutional research data collaboration between the three public universities in Arizona, the University of Arizona, Arizona State University, and Northern Arizona University. The goal is to study and improve intra-state student movements through postsecondary institutions, which will help more Arizonans complete their educational aspirations.

Project Timeline At Glance

Collaborative Infrastructure

To support collaboration, each university has dedicated Liaisons (see below).  ASU and UA will nominate 1-2 individuals to serve on the Analyst Team, which will be informed by content expertise from NAU.  Finally, the three partner universities will engage an Advisory Council of transfer student administrators for a quarterly review of findings and implications.

The project will also engage AZ Transfer and the Helios Educational Foundation to inform the research focus and resulting recommendations.
